
Ground Turkey Stir Fry: BIG Flavor, Minimal Effort!
Ingredients
- 🛒 Grocery List (Serves 4)
- Protein & Veggies
- 1 lb ground turkey (or chicken/beef)
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 carrot, julienned or sliced thin
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated (or 1 tsp ground ginger)
- Sauce Ingredients
- 3 tbsp soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce (optional but so good)
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce (or more soy sauce)
- 1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional for heat)
- Extras
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
- Green onions & sesame seeds (for garnish)
- Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)
Instructions
1️⃣ Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, mix:
- Soy sauce, hoisin, oyster sauce, honey, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the Turkey
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add ground turkey, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until no pink remains (~5 mins).
- Remove turkey and set aside.
3️⃣ Stir Fry the Veggies
- In the same pan, add 1 tbsp oil.
- Toss in onion, garlic, ginger—sauté for 30 secs until fragrant.
- Add bell pepper, broccoli, carrots. Stir fry for 4-5 mins until crisp-tender.
4️⃣ Bring It All Together
- Return turkey to the pan.
- Pour in the sauce, stir well, and cook for 2 more mins until everything is coated and glossy.
5️⃣ Serve & Enjoy!
- Garnish with green onions & sesame seeds.
- Serve over steamed rice, quinoa, or noodles.
Notes
✔ Swap proteins: Use ground chicken, beef, or tofu!
✔ Veggie options: Zucchini, snap peas, mushrooms—whatever you have!
