Ingredients:

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. Pat shrimp dry: Using paper towels, pat the shrimp dry to remove excess moisture. This will help them cook evenly.
  2. Heat oil: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat the olive oil.
  3. Sauté garlic: Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
  5. Season and serve: Toss the shrimp with the red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
